I don’t normally leave bad reviews but this situation warrants it. I made a reservation for a 2024 Range Rover Defender. When I was getting off the plane a message came through that the Range Rover had a mechanical issue. My reservation was for 7:00 pm and I received the message at 6:30 pm. They offered me a 2022 Mercedes GLE 450. They said they would price match, I am not sure how an older car would cost more, but oh well on that. Since we were at the airport I asked to be picked up in the arrivals area, but they said they couldn’t. We had to wait until after 8:30 pm to find out the Mercedes had been parked. We got to parking lot within about 15 to 20 minutes after being notified. We were charged $35 for the parking. We requested a booster seat. We received an infant 5 point harness seat. Our six year old didn’t fit in the seat. I reached out to them and asked to be refunded for the booster seat since we didn’t get one and refunded for the parking for the inconvenience and the fact it was parked a few minutes. I was told the message would be forwarded to management. I never heard another word the whole trip. The car itself was okay, but smelled terribly of marijuana. I purchased 6 air fresheners and put them in the vents and the back of the vehicle. That helped a bit. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this company. Honestly, I never have good luck with Turo. I will probably just stay with regular rental companies now.
