I just got a message about late charges when I returned the car on time .. in fact early

We apologize for the confusion caused by the late-return notification. We have confirmed that the vehicle was returned early. The message was automatically generated because the trip had not been manually ended in the app.

Car was as described. There was a delay with the reservation due to the previous renter not communicating, and because the host was not at first very communicative about the delay. They did compensate me for the 50 minute delay but this is something to keep in mind if there is any urgency to your booking time for appointments or check in etc.
Beyond that though, the rental was as described and a good price. I’d rent it again.

Car was great. Instructions were easy to follow. Drop off was simple. Only thing is that pickup was in International Garage, which is a bit of a hike (particularly if flying United). Also had to pay $3 parking to exit garage upon pickup. But all that said I’d rent this 4Runner again.
