Rented the jeep wrangler for our trip for 4 days. Was a smooth ride and vehicle saved a lot of gas since it was a hybrid electric vehicle. Owner was very responsive from booking date until the end of the trip. Only issue is that it had a roach infestation. We got it cleaned twice, took it to two different car washes. One on the first day and again on the 3rd day since the roaches seemed to have not gone away (by the end of the 3rd day the vehicle was no longer drive able because of the amount of roaches. I returned the vehicle a day early. Contacted the owner with my concerns on the infestation and although was a quick process and responded quickly, he did not apologize and only offered to refund for one day which only covered both car washes if that. I think a refund for at least another day or half a refund would have been fair. Maybe even an uber voucher or an alternate vehicle would’ve been nice/fair as well. On top of that, he is now attempting to invoice me stating I returned the vehicle late even thought it was returned early, additional usage fee (did not even use it for the 4 days it was booked so this could not be possible), airport fee (was not even returned at an airport), gas fee (I filled up the gas before returning), etc. When I asked if he knew about the roaches he stated he did not. Just now upon looking at his reviews, a review states they had the same issue about a week ago. I was just going to take the loss and leave it at that but the dishonesty, lack of compassion, consideration and accountability led me to leave this review. As a business owner myself, I know how it is when handling situations like this and this was not addressed in a reasonable matter especially since I came to him with this problem respectfully and without getting upset as it would’ve been rational to do so.

We had a great experience with our Jeep Wrangler in Hawaii! It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for exploring the island. Pickup and drop off were easy, and the Jeep made our week in Hawaii even more fun. Would definitely rent again!
