The booking process for picking up and dropping off was satisfactory. However, the rest of the experience was terrible. We had booked a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee for our trip. We didn’t thoroughly read reviews before booking, but we should have done so. The car was okay, but the odor was horrendous. But that was nothing as bad compared to situation with roaches in the car. We contacted the host and asked if we could switch to another vehicle, the host claimed that roaches in vehicles were “occasional sightings” are common occurrences. What we experienced was not occasional sightings but rather an infestation. Every time we opened the door, roaches would scurry away. While we were driving one crawled on my leg, and another crawled onto the ceilings, freaking out my girls. Two other times, roaches even flew out of the AC vent. We contacted the host again, but they kept insisting that it was common and still occasional sightings. I beg to differ. Nothing was done to address the infestation, and I will definitely not rent from this host again after this horrible experience.

The car was infested with roaches and had to throw away some of my wife’s personal items and owner didn’t attempt any type of reimbursement for issues.
