We have used turo in the past on other islands and it was a lot easier because you are renting the car from 1 person. Also the airports are easier on other islands. For this trip, we had to uber to pick up the car from a lot and it takes quite some time to get an uber. This is coming from a company. We chose Turo to save time from going to a rental place but ended up wasting time with uber. I will say, once we got to the lot, it was super easy and fast!
In addition, the car really wasn’t well maintained. The windshield wipers need to be replaced. We could barely see when it rained. The battery also died for the key so we had to go purchase one.
No smoking allowed
Smoking in any Turo vehicle will result in a $150 fine
