Unfortunately was not the experience I expected after seeing so many commercials and advertisements and emphasizing on skipping the traditional car rental companies. Upon pickup the vehicle was damaged. The vehicle was obviously in a accident and needed repairs. The vehicle had so many scratches and was dirty inside and out. Gas tank was barely above the middle. I immediately notified the host and provided images on the spot. I requested a new vehicle or a possible free upgrade and was only offered a swap with a similar vehicle. The host even asked me to take to the car wash and they would credit me $20.00 obviously they don't understand that one is on vacation or in town for business and WE need to be inconvenienced and take a vehicle to get cleaned when its expected to be clean Upon pick up. This will truly be my only and last experience with Turu if they don't compensate me for my inconvenience. And I will definitely share my experience with anyone that asks about Turu.

This was my first time using Turo. Experience with the host was great with lots of helpful communication before and after. Price was outstanding especially when compared to mainstream rental car companies. Those are primary reasons for 5 star rating. Note this Durango does only have 5 seats as advertised as there is no 3rd row like most other Durangos. There is a dent on passenger door, but otherwise car was in decent shape. Would rent from this host again.

Loved the car, hosts are very friendly and always around to help. Just unfortunate that someone broke into the rear windshield of the vehicle and that the car had to be returned earlier than anticipated. The hosts and the rental site was great with helping me with the next steps after the damage and swapped me to another car immediately. Excellent service. Truly grateful for your help.
