Car was beat up pretty good with a lot of damage. We could live with it so we stuck with the car. Then when we returned the car we forgot our house gate key fob that we attached to the car key and when I contacted them they first said “we don’t return anything but you can pick it up”. So I sent a msg to confirm they had it before I sent someone there to pick it up for me. They strung me along for a week and still the same response “we sent a message to dispatch team and waiting for response”. I believe this is a company who rents cars - better to go through an individual. I’ve used Turo many times and never had any issues, ever. They are fast at responding to messages although this doesn’t help if they keep saying the same thing and don’t resolve the simple issue/question. Disorganized and dishonest.
