The car broke down in the middle of the road. It wouldn’t drive or go into reverse of neutral. Host refused to respond to me. Read all my messages and never responded. Made me responsible for getting in contact with a tow and then was not cooperative with the tow company. I spent six hours of a Friday night dealing with this.
Statement is inaccurate.
The vehicle had no issues. GPS shows it was driven normally after being reported “not working,” and the claim was made at the exact time the trip ended.
Likely to avoid returning it to the agreed home location. We immediately contacted roadside assistance for you and followed TURO policy. Towing delays are outside our control. The vehicle was left abandoned with the keys inside.
