We really enjoyed the Acura MDX. It was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Bruce was responsive, helpful and easy to work with.

Communication was good and pickup was smooth and organized. The smell in the car was overpowering cover up smell good spray or something and the windows were a bit smudgy.
I noticed some food trash in between seats and in door of back seat (our family rule is no eating in car). I gave benefit of doubt and my family just wanted to enjoy our trip so we cruised through.
That first night my 8 year old daughter was terrified by not one or two roaches, but a straight infestation all over the car!! It was disgusting. I messaged immediately when we got home to demand a car swap, return or something to make it right.
I got a reply from the host early next morning with zero empathy or attempt at customer service or service recovery. He just simply said modify the trip…
I looked into the host a little more and I see he has a huge fleet of vehicles and a couple people co-hosting. When people scale up and do this for profit I notice major loss of human connection and empathy.
At first, I was simple upset because the lack of cleanliness, which is forgivable even if my 8 year old daughter was a bit traumatized. However, the robotic reply to my lengthy message confirms that I will not be booking with this host again.
LA Auto came through super clutch and their manager Casey is the best. He took care of us with a same day Turo rental and his team are mostly locals on site and they take their roles seriously.

the car was good and not beat up, had some minor wear and tears wasn’t the issue, however idk if it’s from the weather but there’s a good amount of small roaches inside every couple days, i also wish the host and his 2 assistants was a bit more welcoming and friendly, at the end i am visiting their city, but other than that the host has made it an easy process of pick up and drop off
