Was weird
I rented through Turo only to find out I really rented from a car rental business
Car was okay
Only problem was, it was trying to stall on me a Cpl times

Awesome customer service and great car. Very convenient pick up and drop
off!

Communication via the app was nonexistent. I was forced to find the rental business coordinating the rental via the provided address and call their phone line. When I notified them of my pickup time of 7pm I was told "communication is key" which I found ironic given their lack of response to my three separate messages sent via the Turo App.

Upon pickup the car appeared in good condition, however over the course of my trip several concerning elements relating to safety and quality of the vehicle arose including:

1) Aftermarket floor mats creating hazardous conditions at the accelerator (mat partially covering accelerator was noticed when creating minor sticking and inconsistent throttle response).

2) The vehicle dash popup notified me on our first long drive that the vehicle was -800 miles on regular service. This was not comforting.

3) The windshield wipers were in a filthy condition and needed careful cleaning to avoid severe smearing and vision issues across the windshield.

4) The windshield wipers did not function on the highest setting. I discovered this when a heavy downpour occured on one of our trips and I was forced to make due with the second highest setting. When put on the highest setting the wipers bound up and threatened to stop functioning entirely.

This was my first experience with Turo and I am left skeptical if I will use this service again. I have a trip booked next week that I will not be cancelling due to scarcity, and can only hope for a safer experience.

Everything was great! The car was in good shape and the host was very flexible in pick up and drop off which was very helpful. Highly recommended.
