Car came clean in good condition. Easy to locate car. Host was fast with responding, car ran great no complaints on car. Everything worked good and had no trouble. If ever needing to rent again I will use host. Car came with complementary things like chargers etc. host was understanding and helped with anything needed and any questions. Thank you again for allowing me to rent.

This host was awful! The vehicle had snow tires on it in the middle of Texas Summer. It would shake and move all over the road at any speed. The brakes were so worn it would barely stop. There were large dents and scratches all up and down the sides of the vehicle. The inside had stains all over the headliner and everywhere else.
I contacted the host out of courtesy to let him know that I was not happy with the vehicle. It took him from 5 PM to 11 PM to pick up the vehicle. I was not able to book another vehicle for going to work in the morning as per Turo’s rules. He would not answer the phone to confirm he picked up the vehicle. Turo suggested that I have the vehicle towed. He called begging me to not have it towed even though it had been over four hours. Because it was going to cost him $300. Telling me about him being busy with work all day and family and such… As if my time is not as important. I lost a whole day because I would not drive that death trap. Never ever book a trip with this host. Ever! Please do not put yourself through what I went through. Even after all that, I thought it would be a nice person, and I did not have the vehicle towed. I continued to wait… He finally picked up the vehicle and never even bothered to say thank you. Awful experience! Disgusting car! Extremely dangerous! Selfish and rude host!

I’m sorry you had a negative experience, but I disagree with several statements in this review. The vehicle was operational and the brakes were functioning properly. When you raised concerns, I arranged to pick up the car myself and tried to resolve things respectfully. During our phone call, you also asked me for $50 in exchange for leaving the vehicle alone. I declined. I take safety seriously and believe reviews should fairly reflect what happened.
