Zoeb and his team were very nice to work with and fairly quick to respond to messages.
The pick-up was extended because right after I finished the check-in process and left the street, I got a call from the shop asking me to return so that they could change the tires on the car. When I indicated my unwillingness to do so because I needed to pick up my kiddo from school, I was asked if I would be staying local or doing any long trips. Since I planned to stay local, they asked if I would return in a few days to change the tires and that it would only take 30 minutes. My sibling was in town, so I was not interested in delaying my time with family. They determined the tire change could wait, and I continued on my way back home so that I could have a quick, late lunch with my sibling before picking up my kiddo. Well, an exit after getting onto the freeway, the oil and check engine lights came on, so I got off the freeway, called the shop, and let them know that I was headed back because--contrary to what the fellow on the phone said--an oil light is a critical alert! I spoke with Zoeb then, and he promised me that he would get several people on the vehicle at once to get me back out the door as soon as possible, which he must have done because it was, indeed, only 30 minutes wait. In exchange for ruining my afternoon plans with my sibling and impeding pick up of my kiddo, Zoeb agreed to diminish the charges for that day, and we agreed to continue with the trip as planned.
Ultimately, the car is good, but it definitely needed more servicing than it had gotten in the 30-minutes that I had to wait while it got the minimum service needed.
One of our biggest issues was the trunk hatch was so slow to respond and open that we decided to not use it for the last week of the trip; it was no longer responding to the dashboard button nor the remote, and it was insanely slow to open or close--IF it even closed all the way! The car also seemed underpowered compared to the other two Foresters I have driven, so I think it needed a tune-up based on past experience with my parent's older-modeled Forester.
As a result of my generally good experience with the car, I bought a new Subaru of my own that arrived early, and Zoeb was kind enough to let me return the car much earlier than originally anticipated. I only hope the car gets much-needed service during this extra time before it goes out for another rental so that the next renter can give a full 5-stars.

Zoeb's response

It was a last minute trip and staff overlooked that I had tires waiting for it, I compensated her a day of rental to come back, had people get on it super quick and knock it out for her, now car is good. Car performs normal for the base model motor it has, not under powered, it’s not an XT model

This car quality was perfect!!
My first time trying Turo and driving a Subaru, hands down better than any rental car experience I’ve had.
Communicated timely and even was flexible with me needing accommodations.
I would absolutely recommend this car!
