I had a mixed experience with this Audi. While the car is mechanically well-maintained and gave me no functional problems on the road, there were several noticeable issues with the rental:
Pickup Hassle: Even though I was delayed and arrived at 11:30 AM for a 9:30 AM pickup, the key wasn't in its designated spot. I had to call the host and get instructions to go into their house to collect it, which was awkward and inconvenient.
Inaccurate Listing: The description states the car has Android Auto and USB charging, but it has neither. Turo needs to do a better job verifying these features, as this was a big inconvenience for my trip.
Cleanliness & Condition: The interior was not cleaned prior to my trip. The back seats had dust and food particles on them (which I documented with photos). Additionally, the rear of the driver's seat is broken.
Ride Quality: The car has over 113k miles on it, and the overall drive quality definitely reflects that age and wear.
Overall, it is a reliable vehicle that gets you from A to B safely thanks to good engine maintenance, but the missing amenities, lack of cleanliness, and pickup issues made for a frustrating experience.
