Car was great just what I needed for my trip back in town. If I needed a car again I would def rent from this host again

Unfortunately, my experience with this rental wasn’t a good one. The vehicle used a lot of gas, and every time I pressed the accelerator it seemed to struggle. The A/C never got fully cold, and the brakes made a loud scratching noise the entire time I had the car.
I informed the owner about these issues and gave him the opportunity to switch me into another vehicle, but the only option I was given was to return the car. I rented the vehicle because I needed reliable transportation, and returning it would have meant losing time and income due to the inconvenience.
To make matters worse, I found two roaches in the vehicle, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Since I was on a tight schedule, I chose to deal with it for the few days I had the rental instead of taking more time out of my day.
Overall, this was not a great experience for me. I do appreciate the opportunity to use the vehicle, but I hope these issues are addressed for future renters.
We responded immediately and offered the option to end the trip with a refund for the unused time. After the trip, the vehicle underwent a full inspection, and no brake issues were found. The vehicle averages about 30 MPG and is designed for fuel efficiency. We were also surprised to read the mention of roaches alongside a 5-star cleanliness rating. This vehicle has completed more than 40 five-star trips, and we stand behind its safety and cleanliness

Easy pickup and good communication from the host. The vehicle had an unexpected valve stem issue that caused a slow tire leak during my trip, but the host responded promptly and worked with me to address it. Overall, I appreciated the communication and had a good experience.

The two star review is due to the car braking down on me leaving me stranded 45 mins from my destination. The host was very attentive and arrived with a vehicle swap, however I was still greatly inconvenienced.
While we understand the inconvenience, we were able to get a replacement vehicle to the guest in about 45 minutes, which we believe is a very quick response. The issue was caused by a battery that was still under warranty and failed unexpectedly. We appreciate the recognition of our communication and attentiveness throughout the situation
