Excellent will rent again..

The Mazda itself was clean and we were able to find it in the garage without any issues. However, there were several communication and maintenance problems that made the rental experience more difficult than expected.

There were no clear instructions for exiting the garage or paying for parking other than being told to “use SunPass.” When we tried to leave, we realized we needed a parking ticket, and we had to call to find out where it was located.

We also noticed immediately upon leaving the garage that the rear passenger-side tire was only reading 27 PSI. The host was responsive and came to our hotel that evening to add air, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the tire pressure warning returned two days later, and then again on our last day, requiring us to add air multiple times. This seems like a tire issue that should have been addressed before the vehicle was rented.

The return process was also frustrating due to a lack of detailed instructions.

Overall, the host was responsive when contacted, but better communication and addressing the tire issue beforehand would have made for a much smoother experience.

Make sure that your pick up is scheduled for the airport ahead of time- Turo auto changes it- $22 extra for airport- then $20 for parking(car was brought there earlier than we scheduled which made for higher fee) First key fab didn’t work- had to meet Hugo at a random gas station that was hard to find. Car had a lot of cosmetic damage and water damage but was nice and what we needed for our trip. Then in Key West the second key fab died leaving us stranded and causing us to miss reservations. Hugo sent instructions and acted like it was an easy fix- had to search for the right battery and little screw driver to get key fab open- luckily the hatch opened with the last bit of battery so I could crawl thru the car. Glad we were in a populated area and not the Everglades lol. Anyways then the drop off was hectic- garages are combined and we couldn’t find the cypress garage- dark parking garage so I didn’t notice a small ding that was new. Now in the process of claims for something small on a car that already wasn’t perfect. I get that this probably won’t happen again as we changed the battery but the way it was handled so nonchalant was not cool.

Easy instructions , clean vehicle, and host was helpful with any questions that I needed.

Great car, was exactly what we needed! Host communicated clearly and responded promptly when we had a question. Would rent again
