Very nice hosts and very communicative. I had an emergency change in plans and I was able to rent their car the night before. Pick up and drop off was very smooth. I will definately rent with them again when I come back to Fairbanks. Thank you so much!!

The host was excellent with communication and very responsive throughout the rental process. However, I would not recommend this vehicle for use in extreme winter conditions. During temperatures around -30°, the heat never became fully warm, no matter how long the car ran. For the price point, features like remote start and a heated steering wheel would have made a significant difference in comfort.
Additionally, the snow brush provided was not sufficient for properly clearing ice from an SUV windshield. The trunk also would not open during our rental. There may be an issue with the fuel system as well, as the gas pump repeatedly shut off every few seconds while fueling, even when holding the handle.
I also noticed that a review from two months ago mentioned an issue with the turn signal, and that concern has still not been addressed. This was not disclosed prior to renting.
Overall, while the host was great to work with, the vehicle did not meet expectations for cold-weather performance.
