Everything was great and Sergei was so kind to let me extend the rental a day. I messed up on extending the rental on time (my mistake for having my card turned off) and he was understanding and graceful. I would definitely rent from him again. Thank you for making my first rental experience great

Rented this car for two weeks and didn’t have any issues. Great car for traveling with a family! Customer service is quick and helpful; answered all my questions right away.

Great car, very comfortable and stylish. Definitely a great way to get around. I didn’t use it but it does have third row seats so it would be perfect for a family gathering car pools or somebody with kids. Val was friendly and accommodating, quick to respond, and picking up and dropping off was easy. Thanks Val! :) Side note for renters; The cars tank was very expensive to fill ($140-150 with premium gas prices as they currently are), obviously at no fault to either the car or Val as it was still a wonderful rental that I would definitely rent again for trips around town, but it did catch me a bit off guard. Probably worth paying for the return at any level of gas extra if you’re going to be driving a distance. But don’t let it discourage you from renting, like I said it’s a great car - just something to be aware of and plan for if you are going down the coast or up to Portland.
The Highlander was great and a smooth ride. Car was clean and pick up was easy. I’d definitely rent through this host again!

Luxury SUV rentals offer superior comfort for long drives through the Willamette Valley compared to standard models. They typically feature premium leather seating with enhanced cushioning and support, reducing fatigue on extended journeys. Advanced climate control systems maintain ideal cabin temperatures, crucial for Oregon's variable weather. Noise isolation is superior in luxury SUV rentals, creating a quieter ride to better appreciate the valley's serene atmosphere. High-end suspension systems in luxury models absorb road imperfections more effectively, ensuring a smoother experience on both highways and rural roads. While standard SUV rentals are capable, luxury variants elevate the driving experience, making them ideal for those seeking ultimate comfort while exploring Eugene and its surroundings.
For navigating Eugene's diverse terrain, SUV rentals with adaptive suspension systems are invaluable, adjusting to both city streets and rugged mountain roads. All-wheel drive is crucial for tackling steep inclines and potentially slippery conditions in the nearby Cascades. In urban areas, parking assist features and rearview cameras make maneuvering in tight spaces easier. For mountain drives, hill descent control provides added safety on steep declines. Advanced infotainment systems with built-in navigation are beneficial for exploring unfamiliar routes around Eugene. Ample cargo space is essential for carrying gear, whether for outdoor adventures or urban shopping trips. These features combine to make SUV rentals in Eugene versatile for both city and wilderness exploration.
Maneuvering a large SUV rental in Eugene's downtown requires careful attention. Utilize the vehicle's parking sensors and cameras when available, especially in tight spaces. Practice reversing and turning in less congested areas to get a feel for the SUV's dimensions. When parking, look for angled or pull-through spots which are easier to navigate. In multi-story parking facilities, opt for upper levels where spaces are often wider and less crowded. Be mindful of overhanging branches on tree-lined streets. Take advantage of park-and-ride facilities on the outskirts of downtown for hassle-free exploration. Always allow extra time for parking and be patient – rushing can lead to mistakes in unfamiliar vehicles.
SUV rentals generally perform well in Eugene's rainy weather due to their higher ground clearance and robust traction control systems. However, guests should still make driving adjustments. Reduce speed and increase following distance to account for longer stopping times on wet roads. Use headlights to improve visibility, even during daytime rain. Avoid sudden movements or hard braking which can lead to hydroplaning. When possible, drive in the tracks of the vehicle ahead to minimize water contact. Be cautious of standing water, which can be deeper than it appears. Utilize the SUV rental's defrosting features to prevent window fogging. Remember that even with an SUV's advantages, wet conditions require heightened awareness and smoother driving techniques for safe navigation around Eugene.
For family-friendly exploration of Eugene's parks and outdoor attractions, consider SUV rentals with ample seating and cargo space. Three-row SUV rentals are ideal for larger families or those needing extra room for picnic supplies and outdoor gear. Look for models with easy-to-clean interiors, perfect for after-hike cleanups. SUV rentals with panoramic sunroofs enhance the outdoor experience, allowing everyone to enjoy Eugene's natural beauty. Safety features like blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warnings provide peace of mind on unfamiliar roads. For tech-savvy families, choose an SUV rental with rear-seat entertainment systems to keep kids engaged on longer drives to attractions like Mount Pisgah Arboretum or Alton Baker Park. These family-oriented features make SUV rentals in Eugene perfect for creating memorable outdoor adventures.
To maximize comfort on long SUV rental trips from Eugene to the Oregon coast, start by adjusting the seats for optimal support. Utilize lumbar support features if available to prevent back strain. Plan regular stops to stretch and refresh, perhaps at scenic viewpoints along the way. Pack pillows and blankets for passengers to create a cozy environment. Make use of the SUV rental's climate control zones to ensure everyone's comfort. Bring a cooler with snacks and drinks to reduce the need for frequent stops. Use the SUV's infotainment system for audiobooks or playlists to keep everyone entertained. Consider renting an SUV with adaptive cruise control for a more relaxed driving experience on long stretches of highway. These tips will help make the journey from Eugene to the coast as enjoyable as the destination itself.
When selecting an SUV rental for adventures around Eugene, prioritize safety features that enhance both urban and rural driving experiences. Look for vehicles equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including automatic emergency braking and lane departure warnings. These are particularly useful on winding roads leading to outdoor destinations. For Eugene's variable weather, all-wheel drive and stability control are crucial. Consider SUV rentals with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts, beneficial in busy downtown areas. Hill descent control is valuable for exploring nearby mountainous terrain. A 360-degree camera system aids in navigating tight spaces and trailhead parking lots. Adaptive headlights improve visibility on dark, forested roads. These safety features ensure a secure and confident driving experience while exploring Eugene and its scenic surroundings.
