The host did not have the key available for us when we were supposed to pick it up at 1 AM. We waited an hour outside after our long flight. They gave no sorry just told us to get an Uber and they will deliver the car the next day because the host is sleeping. There was also no windshield wiper fluid in the car and no front license plate on the car which ended up giving us a ticket. (But they said they would pay for that.) Would not recommend.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your pickup. We understand how frustrating it was to wait outside after a long flight, We did deliver the car to you the following day and reimbursed your Uber expenses.

While a keyless Tesla was a bit of a learning curve, the car was great and easy to use. Instructions were pretty clear in spite of a confusing airport. Also hard to beat $30 to charge the car for the entire trip when gas is $5/gallon.

Car was great. Communication was mixed. Pickup location was changed last minute - ended up not being an issue but added unnecessary stress when we landed. I requested info on charging the car at booking, was assured all the info on charging would be provided but it never was. We had level 2 charging at our rental, but were unable to use it. No charging cable or adapter came with the rental so we had to make trips to Tesla chargers a few times. My experience renting other EVs always included a cable, and we booked the rental specifically to charge overnight. Had I received the info I requested and knew we wouldn't be provided a way to charge at our place, I would have booked with a different host. Hosts we're very nice, just didn't provide enough info before the rental.

We've worked on improving this — making sure charging info is provided upfront and that cables/adapters are available. Sorry for the stress and inconvenience, and thanks again for informing us.
