Great and easy pickup. Very flexible with my late pickup and drop off and accommodating with the extended stay. The car was a bit dirty, but not too bad. I liked that there were lots of space and room. I would suggest a few things to improve the experience. For example, since it’s an older car, there’s no carplay display, so having a carplay would be nice for easy GPS navigation and bluetooth connection, if not, a phone holder - I ended up taping my phone to the dashboard to use GPS. Also, the bluetooth receiver in the car was fine, but it made a really loud buzzing noise, I used tape to secure the audio jack and it worked. The rear view mirror also seems like one of those camera dash cams, and that’s fine, but it needs to be secured, because it shakes a lot when driving on the highway, and isn’t reliable, I had to use the side mirrors most of the time. Another thing that gave me difficulty was the trunk door, for some reason, sometimes it worked, and sometimes it wouldn’t open, there’s no option on the key fob, and maybe there was one inside the car but i couldn’t find it, and it made things really frustrating at times! Lastly, the driver door handle feels like it’s about to fall off! Gas tank is also huge fyi.

There’s weed smell in the car. The accelerator is a little bit old so sometimes I push a little bit further than it rush very fast in front.

This experience started out promising as there was ample communication leading up to the evening I picked up the vehicle. And I will say that it was easy to locate the vehicle at the residential address pick up location provided. However, the experience quickly went downhill from there. As my ride and eye witness pointed out, there was considerable minor body damage around the vehicle, which should have been a red flag, but I chose to take several detailed photographs and continue with the vehicle as planned. At the tail end of the first half of my road trip, the key fob inadvertently stopped working and when I phoned the contact person they suggested that it’s likely the fob’s battery and that I should go to a store to purchase a few to replace it. Luckily, eventually it worked and I avoided such an inconvenience, but in retrospect I wish that had indeed been my inconvenience. Almost immediately into the 2nd half of my trip as I had just began heading home the car died on me, luckily just PRIOR to entering the freeway and near a gas station. Once again I phoned the contact person and this time they speculated that it was due to the alternator and that if they were me I should once again head to an auto zone type store and purchase a couple car battteries to get me home. I was understandable not okay with this and so we agreed that I would have roadside assistance tow the vehicle back to Daly City where both I and the owner reside, allowing me a ride home. After about 2 hours of waiting without any notice, the tow company utilized finally texted me an eta for their arrival with a destination listed as local to the Reno area. So again I called the point of contact and they said that the tow co. had stated that they needed to keep the car at least a day before towing back to Daly City. Never did they think to update ME with this information. The bottom line is that I had to fork over an additional nearly $300 for a hotel room for the night and a train ticket home. Extremely dissatisfied to say the least.
