The actual car and pickup/drop experience was great and seamless. The car was tidy and clean. The issue we had was the car reeked of smoke. It was obvious that this is a smokers car or previous renters have smoked in this car. I am a very smoke sensitive person. I also had a child with me which I did not love exposing her to that. The host did offer to smoke bomb the car (again) but, being on a schedule we did not have time for that as it was out of the way from the airport. This car should have in listing that it is a smokers vehicle.
Hi — I’m the owner of the vehicle and wanted to step in here. This is a strictly non-smoking car, and I do not smoke. The vehicle is professionally cleaned and inspected between every trip.
As per Turo policy, smoking claims require clear evidence rather than odor alone. I’m disappointed to see my vehicle described this way and called out for being a smokers car when it is not.
