The car was fine. The hosts were very kind and informative and accommodating. The only thing I had an issue with was there being a dash cam pointed at me and recording as soon as I got in the car without being notified. There was also an AirTag on the key ring I discovered only because of the notification on my phone saying there was an AirTag with me. I obviously panicked at first because I thought maybe someone put one on me. Only to discover later it was the host’s AirTag. I understand the purpose of the AirTag and dash cam and that’s fine and dandy. However, those things should have been listed in the description so that the renter is aware. Especially as a woman those small things matter.

The dash cam is shown in our listing and pre-trip photos and is used only for safety purposes; footage is automatically deleted within 24 hours if not needed. We also disclosed that the vehicle and key have AirTags and that phone notifications may occur. We appreciate your perspective and will consider making this information more prominent in the listing.
