My overall experience was terrible. The host did not give good directions on which lot to find the car in at Midway airport. Instead of just dropping a pin or exact location, I was sent pictures of him pointing. No signs in the pictures. I had to ask a shuttle driver to look at the pictures for him to figure out which shuttle stop it was. Had I not had his help I would have walked around way more. Once I got the car, it smelled like smoke right when I opened the door. I am sensitive to smoke but it was obvious enough for my child to start sneezing. The worst part was I asked for a carseat and specified that my child is 2 years old. I was told he had a car seat and we were good to go. The car seat he provided was front facing only for 40lbs-60lbs children. Most car seats people have in cars like this are both rear and front facing that can be changed. This one was super cheap and only front facing for older kids. Had I known he didn’t have a car seat to accommodate a 2 year old I would have booked somewhere else. He told me I should have prefaced that my kid was not 40lbs. I also did not know that the carseat had that weight limit. There was no information on that.
The next issue I had was the keys getting locked in the car because my kid shut the door while I was unpacking the car and the car automatically locked the keys in. I used a number I was sent to reach out for time sensitive instances. He took 30 min to respond to me then gave me attitude about why the keys were locked in the carbs the first place. He was able to unlock the car from his phone because that’s what he did when I picked up the car. Very easy for him. He then told me to “please drive safely” like I was a teenager using his precious car. Overall a horrible experience. Would not recommend and will never use them again. Did not get any reimbursement for having to buy my own car seat then return it before I flew home for the safety of my kid. Do not book here!

The car was okay, the seats could be cleaned and car detailed better, but the car was good overall. Leaving a 4 star for communication. I tried to adjust my return time but the host did not reply.

My trip was great from start to finish! The host was friendly, professional, and right on time. The car was clean, reliable, and exactly as described. Communication was excellent throughout the entire rental process. I would definitely book with this host again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth and hassle-free Turo experience. Thank you! 🚗✨
