1st time renter. Absolute horrible experience. Previous reviews are correct when they say tien is a scammer. She is. Picked up car Friday, drove a few hours parked car. Saturday drove car noticed a leak when pulled over. I thought it was from having the air conditioner running, Google said it was antifreeze/coolant. I didn't think anything of it because why would a car with issues be available to rent. Who rents a car and checks for leaks!! Parked car.
Sunday morning drove car less than 1 mile and it started to smoke. I noticed green fluid leaking. Google said it was an antifreeze/coolant leak again and it was empty that's why it started to smoke. I messaged tien, offered to refill coolant per Google if they paid for gas refuel. Simple barter. She said yes. When I called to ask what brand she suddenly changed her mind saying she didn't know what I was talking about and hung up. I called back and her husband got on the phone, proceeded to scream at me, telling me I could have hit something and messed up their vehicle. I told him I did not and when I picked up the vehicle Friday I sent pictures when I arrived to the car of the damage that was there letting them know that's how I received the car and I didn't do it. They forced me to tow the car instead of letting me replace the coolant, finish what I had to do then take it to a mechanic. He proceeded to threaten me saying if I didn't have it towed I would be responsible for any damage to the vehicle!! I had to end my reservation, messed up my entire plans then the scamming started. The tow truck driver said he could tell the truck was in an accident. They had cheap work done to fix it then rented it out. He said me and my kids could've ended up in a very bad situation. Omg! He even said they were trying to scam me.
Here's where the scamming starts.
They sent me $100 invoice for failure to refuel vehicle thankfully turo denied those charges because they forced me to have their vehicle towed. Turbo accepted my request for one day reimbursement since I was unable to use the vehicle for one day. Tien decided to dispute saying that she told me there was an issue with her vehicle and that I was aware of it. No I was not and she knows this. I will continue to fight to get my reimbursement. If I can update this with the outcome I surely will!
I'm appalled disgusted and completely shocked this is my 1st time experience.
Please do not rent from these people they are liars they are truly scammers. The previous reviews were not lying. I wish I would've read them ALL BEFORE RENTING.
I do not know how they have a 4.9 rating. I am pretty sure they have their family and friends rent from them to give them these high ratings. Their Lexus truck is garbage and should be banned from being rented. They need to be banned from Turo!! Shame on them.

Picked and and dropped of exactly on time. Zero issues. Car ran great. Highly recommend!

The host and the car was great. No complications easy booking. I will definitely use again

The package deal of the host and vehicle both have been a successful trip. The countless support and accommodations with the host with a nice and clean car makes car rentals on Turo excellent. Will recommend the car and host to anyone.
