For this was my first experience with Turo, I will say this was amazing. The owner of the Range Rover was amazing as well. She was very helpful and showed respect. I will be using Turo and this vendor for future rentals.

I rented from this host for a 4 day rental initially. I ended up only needing the car for two days. I communicated with the host if it was ok to end the trip early and for her to come pick up the car. She agreed and said no issue. She came to pick up the car and my mistake was not doing the full checkout process right then and there. It’s December in Chicago with snow on the ground, below freezing temps and wet and I did not want her standing around while I took all the pictures and did the full checkout process. I tried to be a courteous person and simply gave her the car back without waiting. We had good communication up until this point and I even told her I’d be renting in the future multiple times. So I didn’t feel the need to take all the pictures and simply gave her the car back.
When I got back inside my house to close the trip out, I noticed I incorrectly modified the trip to shorten by 1 day and not 2 days. The app wouldn’t let me modify so I called Turo and they said they need the host to end the trip. So I messaged her multiple times with Turo on the phone with no response. Turo then directly tried contacting her with no luck. Turo told me to try later. I called Turo a few hours later and after sending multiple messages to host to end the trip and seeing that those messages had been read. Turo escalated the case as I provided them with video proof my security cameras of her standing outside of my house, me pulling up and getting out of car and handing her the keys, and finally her driving off. I sent her multiple messages up until I could end the trip with no response. This is not a trustworthy person.
The most disappointing part was her willing to steal 1 day’s worth of rental for future rentals.
