Renting from Hal was a fantastic experience! His attention and communication were excellent, and everything went perfectly from start to finish. He is an incredibly friendly, accessible, and accommodating host. I highly recommend booking with him and would definitely do it again!

I have used Turo nearly 30 times, and this was by far the worst experience I've had with a host.
The vehicle itself was perfectly fine, but the host's communication, professionalism, and overall customer service left a lot to be desired.
Individually, some of these issues might have been minor annoyances. Taken together, however, they paint a clear picture of a host who is dismissive, unprepared, and inconsiderate.
Before my arrival, the host insisted on seeing my flight information because I explained that my airline had not yet assigned an arrival terminal. Rather than accepting that information, he wanted to "check it himself." When he later replied, "Yes, I can't see it," it came across as though he assumed I was incapable of reading my own flight details instead of simply believing what I had already told him.
When I picked up the vehicle, it had not been vacuumed after the previous guest and was provided with less than half a tank of gas. While neither issue alone is a deal-breaker, they're basic expectations for a rental vehicle.
The day before my return flight, as a courtesy, I messaged the host with my departure terminal so I could find out where the vehicle should be returned. The listing and trip details contained no return instructions, and despite providing my terminal information in advance, the host never told me where to park the vehicle. I ultimately parked it in what I believed was the appropriate location and promptly sent photos showing exactly where it was parked. Only after I had already parked the vehicle did he respond, "You couldn't park it on an upper level." Instead of providing clear instructions when I specifically asked for them, he waited until after the vehicle had been returned to criticize where I had parked.
After nearly 30 Turo rentals, this is the first host I would not rent from again. The car itself was fine, but the host's poor communication, lack of preparation, and condescending attitude turned an otherwise routine rental into an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I cannot recommend renting from this host.

Hello, my apologies for the misunderstanding about the flight info the reason I had asked it’s because I wanted to know which terminal you will be landing in so I could know where to park the vehicle for you so you won’t have a hard time finding it and won’t have to walk through terminals so I could make it easier for you but I guess that was my mistake for trying to make your trip easier and when it comes to gas whatever you take it you bring it back the same way don’t see what’s the issue.
