Unfortunately, my experience with this rental was disappointing. When I picked up the vehicle, it had not been cleaned from the previous trip. The interior was dirty and there was a noticeable odor. I notified the host immediately after pickup, but I did not receive a response. I ended up cleaning the vehicle myself so it would be comfortable to use during my trip.

Communication regarding the vehicle’s condition could have been much better. While the car served its purpose, I expected it to be delivered in a clean, well-maintained condition. I hope the host improves the cleaning process and responsiveness for future renters.

I would not rent this vehicle again. The car was dirty when I picked it up, with cobwebs on the interior, so I paid out of pocket to have it washed. It also had a service/maintenance message and a tire with low pressure, which I reported to the host on the first day of the trip. I even paid to put air in that same tire.

A few days later, that same tire went flat while my family and I were driving on the highway. I contacted both the host and Turo around 3:00 PM. We were stranded for hours with children and received no timely solution. I ultimately had to pay out of pocket, and we didn’t make it home until around 2:00 AM.

At pick up, I messaged the host and he replied that he hadn’t seen the vehicle in a while and asked me to send photos because he wasn’t sure what condition it was in. Based on my experience, the vehicle did not appear to have been well maintained.

My advice is to inspect the vehicle carefully, take photos before leaving, and report any issues immediately. Unfortunately, this trip became stressful, expensive, and disappointing.
