My experience with this rental was disappointing. The vehicle did not match the condition shown in the listing photos. The exterior had numerous scratches, paint damage, and dings that were not apparent in the advertised images.
The interior was also not properly cleaned prior to pickup. There were fingerprints on the windows, sticky beverage residue in the third-row seating area, and the vehicle had a noticeable smoke odor. In addition, the cruise control was not functioning during my rental period.
I contacted the host regarding these concerns, but the response was unprofessional and dismissive. However, on the day of the vehicle’s return, the host became more accommodating and offered a coupon as compensation for the inconveniences I experienced. Unfortunately, I never received the promised coupon.
When I followed up about the missing coupon, I was informed that I would need to leave a positive 5-star review before receiving it. This gave the impression that the coupon was being used as an incentive for a favorable review rather than as compensation for the issues encountered during my trip.
I believe reviews should reflect honest experiences, and this review is intended to accurately describe mine so future renters can make an informed decision.
