Unfortunately the car broke down in the middle of the trip. We even had a headlight that was out on the 2nd day we had the vehicle. The owner did not respond to repeated requests and notices from me when I alerted him of the issues. Obviously things happen but better communication and obviously making sure the car is in a place that is safe to drive before renting are really important. That was missed here.
