Ultimately the car was totally fine, pickup and drop off were very convenient. We were told very shortly before landing that car would have a big windshield crack. Additionally at some point a warning indicator came on that the brake pads needed maintenance. But things worked out fine overall, we also appreciated being able to rent a cooler and booster seats.
