Host was good. They were responsive, pickup was quick and easy.
The car itself was in rough condition and not a more premium experience as the pictures and Lexus brand would suggest. Pretty disappointing.
At the time of our rental the car had:
- 1 completely bald tire
- What sounded like a bad wheel bearing (Very loud humming/whirring noise)
- Cracked windshield
- Rear driver door is misaligned from and accident, further adding to the interior road/wind noise
- Shocks are completely worn out
- Rear hatch makes an awful squealing sound when opening and closing
- Warped brake rotor (Pulsing feeling when on the brakes)
As for the positives, the car did run well and had no warning lights on the dash. The interior was clean and in good shape.

Car ran perfectly, perfect for our trip to visit friends in Alaska. Alaska can be extreme on a vehicles exterior and that is to be expected.

Car is not in same condition as the ad suggests. Car had a cracked windshield which is against Turos policy. Key fob battery was dead upon pick up. Took 10 minutes to get car to start. Wiper blades did anything but clear the water off the windshield. Was told I would get reimbursed if I replaced them after spending $1,900 on the vehicle for the week. Passenger side headlamp mounting brackets were snapped off which allowed the head lamp housing. To fall back into the fascia. For what it’s worth the vehicle did its job it needed to but the differences in the ad to the actual car are unsettling and the fact that simple safety items were not addressed prior to drop of is unfortunate. Will not be using this host again.
