First time Turo user but experienced traveler. Honest review time: I’ll start with the good: Easy pickup confirmation process with Turo: acknowledge, take pics, drive away. The car did get us from point A to point B throughout our trip to Alaska. However, it did so with skepticism. After only 1 night of having the vehicle, the car battery was leaking and the car wouldn’t start, which caused an unnecessarily stressful start to our vacation as we couldn’t leave our lodging to go do anything. All credit to the techs who the host sent out to replace the battery - they were good dudes! But it left me with a feeling of uncertainty the rest of the trip. Thankfully no other issues arose during the week. I would suggest the company invest in some basic preventative maintenance in the vehicle - a leaking battery should have been easy to notice. The exhaust smell every time it started up was also not something one would expect from a car with under 60k miles on it. Finally, we left the car cleaner than we got it. As our child said when I was wiping down the interior before returning it, “it wasn’t clean when we got it anyway”. In summary, it did the work it needed to do but not without headaches and poor presentation. For the money spent I had hoped for the quality that comes inherently with sharing one’s own vehicle.

Older car, but it got us where we needed to go. Very grateful to be able to rent with unlimited mileage. There was a little snafu upon pickup, but the owners were speedy in resolving the issue.

Pick up was easy and efficient as was the drop off. They even gave us a ride to the airport. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely use Clippership Motorhomes again. The car was in great condition and served our needs very well.
