Renter beware. This car was putrid.

The experience started badly before we even drove away. The company initially provided the wrong lockbox code for the keys, which delayed pickup and required us to contact support just to access the vehicle.

The biggest issue, however, was the overwhelming cigarette smoke smell inside the vehicle. After spending just over an hour driving, my wife, parents-in-law, four-year-old son, and I all got out smelling like stale smoke. Even my hands smelled like cigarettes after touching the steering wheel.

What initially seemed like a minor inconvenience quickly became genuinely unpleasant for my family. The odor was embedded throughout the entire car and made the rental uncomfortable from the beginning of our trip.

I’ve contacted the company requesting a partial refund and am still waiting to hear how they plan to resolve the situation. I’ll update this review depending on how they respond.
