Again, this is the first time we’ve used Turo. We were pleased with our initial rental price and host. Unfortunately our first reservation was cancelled due to damage to the vehicle the night before we were scheduled to pick up our van. Luckily we were able to rent a similar vehicle with the same price but a different host. The second vehicle had mechanical issues so we needed to cancel this vehicle and were given a second vehicle under this reservation. Our host. Matt, was great. He met us at the airport and introduced himself and gave us an overview of the initial vehicle. He was prompt and informative with the replacement vehicle. We had a replacement vehicle in less than 12 hours.
Initially we were thinking what are we doing trying some different for a rental car, but quickly changed our minds. The pickup and drop offs were simple and we were given very, very detailed instructions. We will definitely use Turo in the future.

The van ran fine and we had plenty of room for all our people. Everyone was comfortable.
We had some trouble with the rear sliding door not working well and the brakes were worn and in need of replacement.
The van was also dusty/sandy when we picked it up. Clearly there was no effort to clean it after the last family used it. My kids found snacks and all kind of stuff shoved into the pockets and hidey spots in the car.
This was only a minor irritation for me, given the price. Overall, this was a good option and we would rent it again.

I reviewed the delivery photos, and the vehicle was clean at the start of your rental. This is a budget-friendly 8-passenger van rented for around $60 per day. While we thoroughly clean every vehicle, it is not realistic to inspect every small nook and cranny.
Saying that no effort was made to clean the van is simply not supported by the photos, which clearly show it was prepared with care before your rental.
Car quality good. Good on gas. Great for vacation!
