Car worked fine. Check engine light on. Was tricky to get ahold of host with questions. But overall positive experience. No issues with the car or parking, etc.

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I can’t give a positive review of our experience, in good conscience. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is that I spoke with the owner and he’s a nice guy, but it doesn’t excuse the neglect and lack of care by the owner. The car has had a rough life. I don’t mind that as long as the car is clean and runs fine. However, it was very apparent that the car hadn’t been vacuumed or wiped down for likely months. The interior was dirty/dingy and didn’t smell clean. We even found Cheetos under the floor mats and frankly, it just made us feel a bit disgusted each time we had to get inside and go somewhere. Beyond that, there were multiple mechanical issues, including: the check engine light that came on (we found out that the cylinder deactivation system wasn’t working); the engine constantly hesitating (likely due to the fact that it was running on less than 6 cylinders); both sliding doors intermittently not working; something was always rattling going over any kind of slight bump in the road; and the rear window wiper not working. I’m usually the pushover that doesn’t complain when I’ve had a bad experience as a customer/consumer because I don’t want to ruin anyone’s day, but the bar for satisfaction needs to be higher. This didn’t even clear the bar for “mediocre “. And we paid only slightly less than what we would’ve paid renting from one of the larger rental car companies.

Great van for our family trip. Host was easy to communicate with and gave great instructions! Loved that the van had a phone mount as I forgot mine. We look forward to working with Albert again.

Did the job! Car door was acting up, it would open up once it was close to closing.
