Pick up location was convenient, however the interior was pretty gross and dirty (clearly not vacuumed or wiped down, crumbs and sand all over the floors) and the host failed to communicate or even address questions and concerns. We immediately noticed a clanking and knocking sound while driving, and my husband expressed what he thought the issue could be (passenger control arm), and that message was left ignored. The van also didn’t have the mmmmmph to reverse into our (admittedly pretty steep) driveway, and we couldn’t reverse park at our stay/house, which was a big inconvenience for loading our kids daily. My license wasn’t approved by the host until minutes before the intended pick up, and I was stressing on whether or not the transaction would follow through and our family of 5 with 3 young children in car seats would have to scramble to find another appropriate vehicle. I also waited about 10-15min for the lockbox code to be re-sent to me upon drop-off. I would imagine the host would be attentive during drop off and pick up times to assist users. The van did serve its purpose of getting us to and from our locations, however the concern for it breaking down at any point was heavy, and the cleanliness alone was entirely unacceptable.
