Hyundai Sonata

Very disappointing experience. I would not rent from this host again.

I originally booked a Kia, but my reservation was changed to a Hyundai without any compensation or explanation. I also realized too late that the pickup location was in West Palm Beach while I had arrived at Fort Lauderdale Airport. I contacted the host to see if we could work something out or cancel the reservation while covering part of the cost, but I was simply told that it was my problem and that I should have planned better. There was no effort to help or find a reasonable solution, so I had to pay for an Uber all the way to West Palm Beach just to pick up the car.

The vehicle itself was in poor condition. There were cockroaches inside, the steering pulled to the left, there were unusual noises while driving, and there was residue on the windshield.

When I picked up the car, the host personally told me I could return it with three-quarters of a tank of fuel (one-quarter less than full). My partner was present and heard this conversation. Despite that, the host later tried to charge me additional fuel fees.

I was also surprised by the toll charges because the listing did not clearly explain that they would be billed separately.

After all of these inconveniences, the host still attempted to charge additional fees beyond the actual fuel and toll costs. I have no issue paying legitimate expenses, but I do not believe it is fair to add extra charges after providing a vehicle in this condition and offering such poor customer service.

Overall, this was an unprofessional experience with poor communication, an inadequately maintained vehicle, and unexpected charges. I cannot recommend this host.

I had a great experience with this host. Excellent communication for pickup and drop off. Very sweet lady. The car was clean and ran well with no issues. My only trouble was with the app not letting me check in/out at the location due to being “offline” so I took photos at pick up and was able to check in for the ride later when I arrived at my lodging and add the photos then. So for anyone else having connectivity issues, that is an option! Thanks again for letting me rent the car!

I usually do not like giving poor reviews but I keep being asked by Mrs. Loelle to review this ride and honestly it's a little overwhelming.
My experience with Turo has been great and I saw previous reviews given Mrs. Loelle good reviews which is why I chose her.
Upon arriving to pick up this ride I was asked to extend my ride a extra day due to Mrs. Loelle had an appt the same day I was to return this vehicle. After realizing it wouldn't be discounted due to I didn't have need for extending I politely declined to extend my trip. Why pay more at no fault of my own. I offered to end my trip a day early to see if that would help Mrs. Loelle not have to cancel her appt also once inside car I notice it has a stale smell that did bother me some but when requested Mrs. Loelle declined my request stating per turo guidelines trip has to be at least 3 days. I replied no worries thank you. After my trip was completed as Mrs. Loelle was a nice lady and the car driven fine but it was not cleaned not ready from the previous user, there were crumbs in the cup holders, stains in the back seat, tissue in the middle console, crumbs in the trunk so I opted not to rate because it wouldn't be favorable to Mrs. Loelle company which I stated this fact to her and she responded as if I was lying. I am pregnant and do not need extra stress so as I advised Mrs. Loelle the experience that she describe her company provides a well cleaned vehicle was not my current experience I'm sorry. It is almost unfortunately i had to pay for this experience fully, I'm truly baffled when I was trying to be kind by not rating this ride poor but asked repeatedly to when the experience was not a good one.
