Car wheel bearing was bad. Something wrong with engine or transmission. Owner apologized but it cost my trip to take longer. Resistance when you accelerate

They claim the car had an issue before they left Connecticut but they made it all the way to Maryland and back 680 miles later and the car had issues ? Make this make sense . Car came back with no lights , no codes and driving perfectly fine . So this tells me if the car did have an issue they would run it down to the ground and take a chance and drive all the miles or ignore the issues and make matters worse. So to all the host out there be aware that they will not take care of your no car.
Great
