The car had key marks everywhere which I took pictures of at pick up and uploaded to Turo. While driving it had a loud tire noise and brakes were had a vibration while engaging. I immediately let the host know and his response was the person who helps him look over the vehicle had checked it and said it was cleared for rental, also he said I’ll have it looked at when I return it. I was disappointed, he did not offer to get it picked up and exchange it for another vehicle. Also it says in the agreement that I don’t have to wash the car just keep it tidy. Then as soon as I pick up the car I get this long message, don’t eat in my car don’t get sand from the beach in my car or you will get charged a cleaning fee. That’s why I choose cars that I don’t have to wash so I don’t have to worry about a cleaning fee. I rented this vehicle in Maui Hawaii there’s sand everywhere, your on an island. I was so worried about going to the beach because of getting sand in the car I was not able to enjoy my time there.
I have had great host before and they all have taken care of me.
Mahalo for giving us this feedback to make adjustments. I am a bit confused however, your message on app was that you "noticed" a sound, and did not voice any concern of it being a problem. Voicing your frustration better so I could discern that it was going to affect your experience. You said nothing following my message until you returned.
And in the same fashion you give a 1 star review bashing my message to be mindful of sand and food to prevent cockroaches and scratches for other guests.

The car was delivered on time but everything after that was not a pleasant experience. The tires on the car are almost bald. The car makes bad noises when it's running over 40MPH and when you use the brakes. There is cosmetic damage over much of the vehicle but the inside was clean. The final cost of the car was $150 more than what the owner gets - be prepared to pay Turo their share and in Maui the fee and the local taxes are very high. And the owner's rate was $80 higher than the cost our text messages showed we were agreeing at. Buyer beware.
Wow. I am the bad guy, for lowering price when you wanted to extend from 3 days to 10 days, attempting to meet your budget of $500 unaware how much Turo will add. The vehicle has cosmetic damages, to be repaired all at once. We went out of our way to deliver at your arrival time to save you $, when it's booked for pickup at our location. Tire was not making noise prior and has enough tread as per mechanics inspection. I hope you find peace. I am not your punching bag, find another outlet.
