The car ran alright and that is the best thing I can say for this listing. The available car seat that you have to pay extra for is completely unsafe and the host tries to bait and switch you by showing you a picture of a different, much nice car seat, thanks the one he actually provides.
They also don't tell you up front but the car seat will just be thrown in the car and not installed. No instructions were provided on how to install it using the car seats latch system but even if they were it wouldnt matter because the seat is broken and only has one of the two tethers. When I asked why they waited to tell me the seat wouldnt be installed and where the instructions were the host was very rude and dismissive even when I explained that using just the seat belt to "secure" the car seatbleft it dangerously unsecure.
Beyond that, the car wasn't cleaned prior to pick up. It still had a pair of the previous driver's shoes in the trunk, the back seat was full of crumbs, and the console had the prior driver's parking ticket showing it had been parked in the lot the day before I picked it up. You should also be aware that the host leaves the car in the airport lot between drivers so expect to pay the full daily rate to get out of the lot when you pick up your car. Honestly, this was the type of host that makes you regret using Turo instead of a clear rental agency.

Regarding the car seat, the photos were from the original retailer listing and it appears the manufacturer later updated the model shown online. We are removing the seat immediately. For liability reasons, we do not install car seats, and Turo policy does not require them to be pre-installed. Parking fees are reimbursable through Turo’s updated policy. The 2024 vehicle is fully maintained and serviced regularly.
