The owner wasn't responsive enough. He did come pick the car up because the "change oil" light would not go away. The car should have bec serviced prior to renting it to me for a month.
3) I also asked the owner to text or call me back because both the front and back paper license plates were badly torn and falling off. I never heard from him.
4) Lastly, as I went to return the car at approximately 4:15 today I was stopped by a motorcycle policeman. It was a ridiculous, stupidly dramatic scenethat I certainly didn't need. After about 20 minutes I learned that the paper license plates were very expired. All in, I lost over an hour and couldn't refill the gas tank. I stayed at the drop-off point in hopes of speaking to the owner. All things considered, I am due a partial refund and the cost of filing up the tank study the VERY LEAST.
During the past couple of hours no one affiliated with Turo (most of all the owner) has reached out to guide me out help me in any way. I took all the pictures in and out and sent them over 2 hours ago. What the hall???
I’m sorry you had a less than ideal trip. As stated in the messaging platform our team relies on messages through the app so we can all see and help communicate with customers.
Regarding the light - we responded and fixed the issue same night without any interruption. I worked after business hours to make sure your car is operating well. We went above and beyond.
If you needed an extension to fill gas, it would have been permitted. I’m unclear about the police issue - no documentation seen
