The host was informative and well-mannered. The vehicle the interior was well kept, however, the maintenance of the tires was not well kept. This resulted in a flat tire due to the tremendous loss of thread in the inner layer and cords showing in the outer layer. This needs to be corrected and addressed routinely to prevent any further issues that could turn out to be far worse.
now for Turo, we requested assistance in this matter when this incident occurred. Turo was responsive in addressing this matter, however, it took them 8 hours to respond effectively. We ended up leaving our rental in one state and had to take a Lyft to our home state which was 2 hours away. Turo covered the expenses and refunded us partially, which was fair. outside of that, the drive was nice and comfortable before said issue.
Good afternoon, thank you for the response. This is one of my newer purchases and the car came with all new tires. It has only been driven for about 4 months. After further review, I learned the dealership did not align the tires correctly and that there was an alignment issue that resulted in the tire’s wear and tear. I do apologize for the mishap as this car is currently being repaired. Thank you so much for informing me and in the future I will ensure that this issue does not happen again.
