The owner was upfront that this is an older, very basic vehicle and set expectations accordingly, which I appreciated. That said, renters should be aware that the condition goes beyond just “older.” The car had not been well cleaned prior to pickup, was missing a gas cap, and had a strong marijuana odor inside.
Additionally, it felt shaky and unstable at highway speeds, which made longer drives uncomfortable. If you’re considering this rental, go in with very low expectations and be prepared for a rougher experience than a typical rental car.

The host was incredible, very prompt responses. The car got us from point A to point B as described, however needs some attention given to the breaks and was out of washer fluid.
