The car was great and performed well throughout my trip. It was clean, reliable, and exactly as described. It took me a little while to figure out the AC controls, but once I did, everything worked fine.
The host communicated throughout the rental, although the communication felt somewhat impersonal compared to other Turo experiences I’ve had. My biggest drawback was the pickup and drop-off process. The vehicle location required me to use Lyft both ways, which added about $21 for pickup and $19 for drop-off. While that may not be an issue for everyone, it’s something future renters may want to factor into the overall cost and convenience of the trip.
Overall, the vehicle itself was excellent, but I would have preferred a more convenient pickup/drop-off arrangement and a more personable hosting experience.

Prior Check In, I provided address, detailed parking instructions, photos of the car and lockbox, Google maps pin and additional guidance explaining exactly where the car was parked. You only need to read it! When you reached out during pick up I responded immediately to assist.
Turo prohibited in San Diego airport and my pick up location is just 7min away, conveniently located on opposite side of airport traffic.
