Car and host were fine. But the listing on a map appears like the car is near the airport, if you’re unfamiliar with the area like me, I think it should be noted that this car is at least a 15 minute drive from the airport with heavy traffic. When I found this out, I contacted the host and they told me that Turo customer service was the only way to cancel it. When I contacted Turo they said only the host could cancel it. Overall, the host was fine, but this company in general is not very concerned with keeping customers happy.
You booked the trip with an additional discounted non-refundable rate, which was clearly stated at booking. The exact pickup and drop-off address was available in the reservation details before the trip and never changed. Travel time from the airport depends on traffic conditions and is outside the host’s control. I’m glad the car and host met your expectations, and any cancellation or refund requests are handled directly through Turo according to their policies.
