My experience with the host was great. I really appreciated the communication and patience, especially because the Turo app itself is not always a very positive experience. A lot of things are not intuitive, information can be difficult to find, and it is not always clear where you are supposed to put things. The check-in and check-out process in particular can be pretty confusing.
I would highly recommend calling the host if you need anything important. For example, I tried to share my location and send a message before my flight, and it ended up not going through.
As far as the car itself, it was solid and reliable overall, a good solid value, and like I said, the experience with the host was really good. That is why I gave it five stars.
That being said, I had really inconsistent results with the Bluetooth. If Bluetooth is important to you, just be aware of that. It would connect sometimes and then not connect other times, which could definitely be frustrating if that is something you rely on.
The sunroof also stopped working for basically half a day one day. Once I finally got it closed, I did not feel comfortable opening it again because I was concerned it might stop working while it was open, especially if there was inclement weather.
The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and kind about all of that, so it was still an overall five-star experience. I would definitely use this car again when I am in the area.
