This car should not be a rental. When I first picked it up, there were dents and dings all over the outside, with areas where the wrap was peeling away. There were several places with damage on the inside. When I turned it on the car was only at a half charge, which was just rude. Further, the battery wouldn’t hold a charge and I kept having to interrupt my vacation to charge way more often than it should have. I should have been able to do my whole trip on one charge but had to charge multiple times and was stressed most of the time because I was worried I wouldn’t make it to my next location. The front panels and internal panels under the bumper had previous damage and the car was literally falling apart during the trip. I had to return the car 24 hours early because of panels scraping against the road, then the host wanted to charge me for all of this! I felt completely scammed driving a car that should not have been rented out in the first place. The host has obviously not maintained the car in the inside or out, except for a little vacuuming and a bad car wash in hard water. She didn’t even get rid of the garbage from the last renters, I tossed that out for her.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience but several claims are false. The vehicle was driven right before your trip without any issues whatsoever. The vehicle was damaged on your trip. I have photos documenting everything. Other guests have complimented the wrap, battery, and driving experience as seen in the previous 5 star ratings. It’s a 2015 vehicle rented by 50+ individuals this year, so wear and tear, including dents, is expected. For a flawless vehicle, a newer model should have been rented.

Car did not come with a full charge, had to contact owner in order to get car to charge

It was Michael’s first time driving a Tesla. He was unaware that it needed an adapter to plug at non-Tesla chargers. We provide adapters upon request. The next day, I drove 20 minutes to help him charge it at the Supercharger and drop off the adapters for him at 6am. He was unaware of how to plug it in correctly so I decided to go and help him do that.
Host was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our experience with the car was comfortable. The communication was excellent throughout. Highly recommend!"
