The unfortunate reason this trip was canceled was due to mechanical issues beyond the host's control. It would better serve the public for public safety to ensure that vehicles are up to standards in their operations. Therefore this trip was canceled. Secondly, the host is surely gonna make this up to the customer for his patience and understanding in this matter.
Sort of a funny story how we ended up here, this was during the Albuquerque, balloon, fiesta and rental cars were crazy, so I checked into Turo and found the slingshot.
Such a great accidental find, we had a riot with this vehicle. It had been a long time since I ran a five speed manual transmission, but it made it all the more fun and I slid right back into it like it had just been yesterday.
Michael and his wife are super accommodating and great at communication. They made a few concessions for us that they didn’t need to make that made our trip all the better.
Lots of fun to drive, lots of looks from people while you’re driving it easy to park fun to drive great host nothing better than a little side adventure while you’re on a trip
