The car was nice and clean. It was a smooth drive. However on the day to return the car the host wanted me to pay for the car to get washed or give him $30. The host also wanted me to return the car to their house if I didn’t want to pay for the cleaning. This made me very uncomfortable.
We work hard to offer very competitive pricing. In return, we simply ask that the car is returned in the same condition it was provided. If any damage or issues occur during the rental, we kindly ask customers to take responsibility for them. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The car was ok had a weird smell to it and also it needed an alignment. The only bad thing was he cancelled my trip because of the timing which sucks because he could of at least message me saying if i could switch to another time but instead he went ahead and cancelled on me which caused me to rebook again and pay 30$ more because the discount wasn’t available anymore. After that i asked the host if it was ok if he can reimbursement after i return his car and he said i don’t want to promise a refund because i don’t know how to refund but i let him know that all he had to do was approve it when Turo gave them a call. What happens next… i called Turo they said that he didn’t want to refund the $30. I feel like he cancelled on me on purpose so he can make more money knowing the discount wasn’t going to be applied if i rebooked. It’s disappointing how host like this can be so sneaky. I will not be booking this car again with Toor for being sneaky and a liar.
Hi Shirley, I clearly wrote you to deal with Turo on refunds. As a host, I have no control or visibility over payments. Your problem is with Turo, not me. Customers pay Turo, and Turo pays us.
