The smell of this car was horrific!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was literally a public porter potty on wheels at a concert in the park on an extremely hot summer day. It smelled like urine and turds!!!!!!!! The car was visually clean, but something that wasn't right happened in that car. Yes, they "made it right" by switching me out into another, but it was still a hugh inconvenience! It would've really been right if they never tried to rent that car in the first place! The first day I rented the car, I was in a rush and had to go to work so I neeeeeeded it, but the next day I brought it back, it still took a whole hour on VDay so plans had to be rearranged.
I honestly feel as they KNEW how that car smelled, despite the story they tried to feed me and the "I'm sorries," because how did you drive the car around and take pictures of the inside of the car but not smell it? Did you leave your nose in the office sitting behind the desk or something? But... wteva. And the man who gave me the car tried to engage in foreplay damage control of the situation, because as I was taking pictures of the outside of the car, he was talking about how hard it was to get the smoke smell out the car and was out of sight by time I opened the door and turned back around. Idk what they used, but I would have rather smelled cigarette smoke. It smell like an uncleaned gas station bathroom outside around back. It was digusting!!!!!!!!!!

However, describing the car as “not clean” is not accurate. A concern about scent is subjective and different from the vehicle’s actual cleanliness and condition. We always aim to address concerns promptly and professionally, and we did so here.
