While the price was good and the vehicle looked nice… I was sent the wrong code for the lockbox and the car itself was not in good condition for being a rental! I was worried the whole time driving it. I reached out and let it be known that the oil was very low and my host said he had checked it and it was fine. The belt makes a loud noise the whole time and the breaks are not in good condition. The battery was also covered with corrosion which can cause a lot of issues. I did not like how when I addressed the concerns he said the vehicle was fine. I am a ASE certified mechanic and know it was not and his only response was you can return the vehicle but by then I had paid for it and did not have time to rent another car and just had to hope nothing went wrong! The inside of the vehicle was fine.

I’d like to clarify that the lockbox code provided was correct and verified by multiple guests before and after your reservation. The vehicle’s oil, brakes, and battery were inspected prior to your trip and found to be in normal condition with no issues reported by other renters, I even offered you to return the vehicle and give you a full refund if you didn’t felt comfortable driving it, but you declined.
