I understand a car not being perfect. Dents, old keys, etc. can be perfectly normal. Even the owner/agency giving more term and conditions via messaging after payment, I can deal with begrudgingly. But when the car jerks so much you risk accidents, and stalls out when going uphill in an extremely hilly city you have to ask yourself, why is this vehicle available for rent?
Hi Jenday, we wish you told you there was something wrong right away so we swaps car o check it. You didn’t send us any message during your one day trip. We have records of the car maintenance. I wonder if you press a wrong button. Anyways we will be submitting this information to Turo to prove our car was inspected and good condition.

Counting my lucky stars nothing was mechanically serious with this vehicle though I was treading on 3 nearly bald tires and one with a staple in the sidewall. Took 3 hours at the tire dealership mostly due to the main host arguing about the warranty being voided on the tires due to lack of required maintenance. Tires replaced in 2021!!!! Host tried saying it was a nail in the tire that I could’ve rolled over but he was told multiple times it was a staple in the sidewall (lots of previous damage on the sides of the car). No notice before hand of needing to take the vehicle through the car wash before the trip ended until the morning of (plane trips leave earlier than car wash services open) thankfully not being charged for that due to the issues I’ve had since I got the first car from him (door ajar sensor dinging constantly) they knew about the sensor issue but only told me so after I complained and said there was nothing mechanically wrong and the part was supposed to be delivered.
Hannah, you got a nail in the tire and we repaired the tire for you at not cost when it was your responsibility. Your review is unfair.

This was by far the worst Turo experience I’ve ever had. It started with me being given the wrong location for the pick up. I was told “N” at the economy parking lot and in actuality it was W. I walked around in the rain for 20 minutes trying to find the car while receiving no help from any of the 5–6+ hosts. Then was charged $15 for parking. Then the engine light was on which I was told about. Then however, the CHANGE OIL NOW light came on saying the car was nearly 10,000 miles over due for an oil change. Then the tire light came on, and by the time I could get to a service station the entire tire was blown out and I spent $180+ out of pocket to repair it. That was the only tire that had any life left in it. The others are so worn that it absolutely was terrifying to drive in the rain it hydroplaned constantly and had I not needed to be back in Portland for a flight I would have left it on the side of the road to be honest. ABSOLUTELY would not recommend.
Ashly has low reviews, nonetheless we wanted to give her an opportunity to bring up their reviews. Unfortunately, we ended up with a bad guest, who complained about minimal details, rented a car for a short period and damage our vehicle.
